Scelbi Layout Started

It looks like I’ll be putting the per cycle Scelbi emulator on hold for a while, since I just started on this:

first draft of IC, resistor and cap placement

first draft of IC, resistor and cap placement

This is what the first rough draft of IC, resistor and cap placement for a replica Scelbi CPU card looks like. In the past, once I’ve started on layout, everything else usually goes on hold for a number of months.

    Mike,

Put me on the list for a set of boards.

    Mike,

It will be nice to have you on “board” as there is some sheet metal work involved. :-) Actually, it looks pretty straight forward – according the manual, the chassis is based on a Bud #413, which, much to my amazement, is still available and even in stock at places like mouser.

    Mike,

I know when I built Steve Gabaly’s Mark 8 minicomputer board set up they still sold the BUD 2140 case called out in the 74′ RE construction article!

    Best Regards
